There are a ton hidden throughout the game, but for the sake of not creating an entire game guide of a walkthrough for you, we'll give you some in Hyrule Field. We've gone back and sought out some hidden spots in Ocarina of Time that may still even be a mystery to you, and while most of these are probably nothing new after ten years if nothing else it'll bring you the sense of nostalgia you've earned as a true Legend of Zelda fan. Amongst various commands was the element of movement the idea that the freedom was yours to control and guide Link wherever he need be.Įxploring different lands and sections of the game became a thrilling aspect to gamers everywhere, and soon enough finding hidden items and what is still referred to as "secrets" was a very serious goal. With a few controller commands, suddenly you were operating what seemed like a real-life hero and not just a graphic on a television screen. The action button, for one, allowed gamers to interact with the game in such a futuristic way that platformers had not yet reached.
What made Ocarina of Time so great were its features that were so new to gamers at the time and created one heck of a gaming experience.
